If you have the time and the patience I suggest that you make your own food. This is both cheap and healthy. The best and most natural is a raw diet but this is not for all people. There are many sites on the internet that have recipes for dog food. There are also recipe books that can be found at both pet stores and on line. When it comes to commercial brands of dog food, I do not suggest store brands or other cheap brands of dog food. ALWAYS do your research before you buy your dogs food.
