Things I consider when placing a pet:
- Do you have a fenced in yard? This may not be a big deal depending on the size or breed of the the dog. I will take into consideration the dogs temperment and habits as well as the breed characteristics when I place a pet.
- Does the animal feel comfortable with you? You and the pet will need to feel comfortable with each other. If the dog isn't warming up to you when you come to meet the dog, you will not be recieving this dog from me. If I get a bad vibe for any reason that I am not completely comfortable with you recieving a dog from me, I will not allow you to take possession of the dog.
- How many other pets do you have? If so, are they up to date on their vacinations? This is important! Do they get along with other animals? If I do not see the other pets interact with the dog that I am rehoming in a pleasing manner the dog will not be released to you.
- What are you looking for in a pet? Having the pet in my home I will see more of it's personality than would a shelter/pound. I want to make sure this is a good match for both you and the pet.
- Will this pet be an indoor or out door pet? Some breeds are not suited for outdoor living.
- Do you live on or off post? There are pet restrictions on post and I will not give a pet to some one living on post if that pet is banned or you already have the maximum amount of pets in your possession.
