Rehoming
Have you been to the pound lately? Most of the local pounds, shelters, and rescues are overflowing with pets with out homes. If you are looking for a pet, I encourage you to look there first. There are many shelters that are not "no-kill" and put the animals down after so long of them being there. I am trying to keep as many pets out of those places as I can. I can only do this one pet at a time, but it adds up. I do not want you to have to put your pet in a place where it will be caged untill it is found a home or worse yet until it is put down. I understand that it is not always possible to find your pet a good home in the amount of time that you are given to do so. I want to help. I will take in your pet to find it a good home. I have a large back yard for any size dog to run around in, and plenty of space for it to feel at home inside. The only animals that I cannot help are the ones that are not good with small children. Please keep all of this in mind when you are about to take your pet to the shelter/pound.
Dog Training
I am currently taking a course at PennFoster on dog training. When I complete this course I will be starting up classes for training both dogs and puppies of different ages and skill levels. I believe that a well trained dog is a happy dog.
